Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent erroneous operations even for the level detection of ultra fine powders by forming a tuning fork into a general Y-shape so that its U-shaped portion is used to establish vibrations and that its I-shaped portion is used to detect the level.
CONSTITUTION: A tuning form 6 is formed into a general Y-shape which is composed of a U-shaped portion for vibrations and an I-shaped portion for level detection. The form 6 is vibrated with its intrinsic freqnency, which is converted by a piezoelectric element 2A into electric signals to be amplified by an amplifier 7. If, now, fine powders are brought into contact with the I-shaped portion 6b forming the fork 6 so that this portion is retained, the positive feedback loop is blocked to attenuate the vibrations until they are stopped. If, on the other hand, the restrictions are released, the fork 6 restarts its vibrations.
