Abstract

PURPOSE: To automatically effect the conveyance, development and discharge of self-treating film in response to the termination of the taking operation by building a developing and discharging mechanism of the film in the casing and optical system which are mounted in the camera body while using a rear cover as a base.
CONSTITUTION: A shielding rear cover and an interchangeable rear cover 16 are mounted in the body A of a single lens reflex camera so that a casing B is fixed thereto by using the rear cover 16 as a base. There is arranged in the casing B an enlarging optical system which is composed of a field lens 6, a starionary reflecting mirror 7 and a relay lens 8. A self-treating film unit 10 is provided at such a position that self-treating film 9 is positioned at the focal plane of the optical system. Release signals or shutter opening signals are fed to the casing B from the camera body A so that the treatments of the conveyance, development and discharge of the film, which has been exposed in the casing B, can be automatically accomplished.
