Abstract

PURPOSE:To facilitate the splicing operation by providing recording means for recording the pulse code signals in a recording medium after they are fed as a bias to analog input signals. CONSTITUTION:A PCM signal processing circuit 2 converters input audio signals into PCM signals to generate signals having a frequency spectrum shown at P1 and P2. An audio signal amplifier 3 amplifies the input audio signals as they are in their analog from. The output of the circuit 2 and the output of the amplifier 3 are analogly added so that they may be recorded through a magnetic head 4 in a magnetic tape. As a result, the analog audio signals are biased with the PCM signals and recorded. Thus, the analog audio signals can be recorded without distorsion and without being influenced by the non-linearity in the magnetic tape.
