Abstract

PURPOSE: To try improving of workability, by opening a choke valve at the proper negative pressure value corresponded to the temperature of engine after the engine has been started with a negative pressure motor to operate due to suction negative pressure of engine.
CONSTITUTION: After the engine has been started, when the manifold negative pressure reaches the negative pressure P corresponded to elastic force of balancing spring 19, stress to be pulled to the right upward acts upon the operating shaft 20, simultaneously reaction force of leaf spring 24 acts on the operating shaft 20 through a roller 21 during operation. This reaction force hardly acts on the low temperature side which the upper arm of choke lever 22 leans to the left, while there is a characteristics which initial strong reaction force acts on the high temperature side which leans to the right. Consequently on the low temperature side, the valve opening timing is advanced, operation to prevent over rich is carried out, furtheremore, on high temperature side, the valve opening timing is delaied, operation to prevent over lean is carried out, thus workability may be improved.
