PURPOSE:To minimize the flying loss of uncombusted particles by diving the fluid bed into two sections so that larger fuel particles are first subejcted to fluid-bed combustion at a higher empty tower speed and, then fuel particles divided by said first combustion are then subjected to fluid-bed combustion at a lower empty tower speed.
