Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a vehicle operation controlling system, which is operated to detect the range where the vehicle is to be stopped at the first time when the vehicle comes into the above stop range and to control the vehicle to stop at the center of said stop range in case that the vehicle has overrun the stop region and reenters into the region from the opposite side.
CONSTITUTION: When vehicle is stopped after overrun, signal is given from detector 16 which detects that vehicle is stopped, whereupon half of the content of counter 23, that is, distance from the end portion to the center of the range where the vehicle is required to stop is put into shift register 24, and the value and content of counter 25 are added at the same time. The sum of the these values corresponds to the distance from the position where vehicle is stopped actually to the center of said stop range and it is stored in reversible counter 28. When a signal for driving back the vehicle is produced from switching circuit 19, content of reversible counter 28 is replaced by brake pattern in pattern generator 29 and afforded to comparison circuit 22, to which output of speed detector 21 is also given, whereupon brake instructing signal 37 is given.
