Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the size of a watch by sealing quartz oscillators for high and low frequencies in an identical case. CONSTITUTION:An AT cut quartz oscillator 31 for higher frequencies is supported at three portions by the supporting portion 33 of a supporting ring 23 of ceramics whereas a tuning type quartz oscillator 25 for lower frequencies is supported on a supporting ring 21 of ceramics such that its base adhered thereto. After that, the two supporting rings 21 and 23 are overlaid, and a guide hole 35 is fitted in a terminal 32 and is sealed between the cover 10 of a quartz oscillator container and a hermetical terminal 20. Thus, it is possible to provide a watch of small size which uses two quartz oscillators for high and low frequencies and which is highly accurate while using a small power consumption.
