Abstract

PURPOSE: To wash sea sand and to treat the waste water contaminated therein without causing any pollution.
CONSTITUTION: The sea sand to be washed is accumulated in a crude sand hopper 3 and supplied to a sieve 1 from the outlet of said crude sand hopper 3 by a conveyor 4. The sea sand from which coarse solid particles are separated by the mesh of said sieve 1 is fed to a sand washer 2, washed by the washing water sprayed through a spray pipe 2b for removing salt, and accumulated for use concrete skeleton. In the meanwhile, the waste water from said sand washer 2 is fed at a required rate to a crude water tank 5, and led into a settling tank 6 through an aggregating tank 7 supplied with flocculant by a supplier 7b to separate by settling the SS contained in said waste water.
