PURPOSE: To provide a detergent composition containing an alkaline earth metal salt of an anionic surfactant, a quaternary ammonium salt-type cationic surfactant, and an alkaline earth metal salt of an inorganic acid, and capable of imparting softeness and comfortable touch to clothes by washing.
CONSTITUTION: A detergent composition containing (A) 5W40 wt% of an alkaline earth metal salt of an anionic surfactant having a sulfonic acid group or a sulfuric acid ester group, (B) 0.1W10 wt% of a quaternary ammonium salt-type cationic surfactant of formulas I or II (R1-4 are alkyl, hydroxyalkyl, benzyl, provided that one or two of them are 8W22C alkyl; x is halogen), and (C) 3W30wt% of an alkaline earth matel salt of an inorganic acid having a solubility of ≥ 0.1 g/100 g water at 25°C. The compound I is, e.g. distearyldimethylammonium chloride, stearyltrimethylammonium chloride, etc.
