Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain good pictures in a simple constitution by taking out signals, which correspond to picture generation data signals required for forming an arbitrary horizontal scanning line during the next horizontal scanning period, from the first and the second line memories for display. CONSTITUTION:In forming pictures while scanning vertically and horizontally, one-frame components of picture generation data signals from picture processing unit 1 are transferred to frame buffer memory 2 during the vertical flyback time, and picture generation data signals required for forming an arbitrary hozirontal scanning line are taken out from them during the horizontal scanning period and are operated and transferred to line memories 11a and 11b for display alternately in every horizontal scanning period. Then, signals corresponding to picture generation data signals required for forming an arbitrary horizontal scanning line during the next horizontal scanning period are taken out from memories 11a and 11b. As a result, good pictures can be obtained in a simple constitution.
