CONSTITUTION: A stationary plug 2 is provided at the upper part of the opening of a reactor vessel 1, and a rotary plug 3 is provided at the eccentric opening of the stationary plug 2. The rotary plug 3 is supported on the stationary plug 2 by a dry thrust bearing 4 divided and shaped in several pieces, and the rotary plug 3 can be freely rotated. On the upper surface of the rotary plug 3 there is mounted a core upper mechanism 6 provided therein with a fuel exchanger 5, a reactor core controller and the like. The dry thrust bearing 4 is fastened to the stationary plug 2 by means of a bolt.
