Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable directivity to be freely selected and obtain a screen which does not produce any pinhole by forming elliptical and sectionally concave form curved parts on the front of a film-form sheet and applying aluminum vapor deposition thereto.
CONSTITUTION: Sectionally concave form curved parts 2 having a pitch P of, e.g., about 0.5 to 0.8 mm are formed by pressing on one side of a thin film-form sheet 1 composed of synthetic resin such as of vinyl chloride or other. The concave form curved parts 2 are so formed that their surfaces becomes elliptical. Aluminum vapor deposition is applied over the entire surface of the side of said sheet 1 having been formed with the concave form curved parts 2, whereby an aluminum vapor deposition film 3 is formed on the surfaces of the concave form parts 2. By selecting the radius of these concave form parts to a suitable value, directivity may be selected as desired. In addition, the application of the aluminum vapor deposition on their surfaces enables the production of pinholes to be prevented.
