Abstract

PURPOSE: To accomplish demodulation of logic information with accurate identification of the frequency minimizing the effect of noise by setting frequencies of carrier signals to one fundamental frequency in accordance with a specified relationship.
CONSTITUTION: A plurality of transmitters 2 ... and receivers 3 ... are connected to an indoor power line 1. The receivers 3 ... are remote-controlled based on control information sent from the transmitters to control the load connected thereto. Frequencies f1 and f2 of carrier signals transmitted from the transmitters 2 are set to 1/2n1 and 1/2n2 of one fundamental frequency f0 (n1 and n2 represent a natural number subject to n1 ≠ n2) and roughly at the ratio of 25:29.
