Abstract

CONSTITUTION: A cask 1 for containing a reactor core forming element 2 is connected through a door valve 3 to a shielding ring 4. The door valve 3 consists of a door balve body 4 and a shielding shutter 6 carrying a drip pan 7. Droplet sodium from the element 2 is contained within a body 9 through a sodium collector 10. Then, the shutter 6 is moved rightwardly, the sodium collector is detached using an operating rod 11, the shutter 6 is moved leftwardly to thereby grip the body 9 by a cask gripper, the shutter 6 is gain moved rightwardly, and the body 9 is contained by the cask gripper through a guide tube 8 within a drip pan container under the ring 4.
