Abstract

PURPOSE: To easily optimize the inclination angle of a spiral chute depending on the properties of ore or the like unloaded in bulk through the chute and prevent the damage, clogging, etc. of the unloaded matter, by enabling the change in the inclination angle.
CONSTITUTION: An upper outer cylinder 1 and an upper inner cylinder 2 are concentrically coupled to a lid 3. A lower outer cylinder 4 and a lower inner cylinder 5 are concentrically coupled to a bottom plate 6. A rope 9 delivered out of a winch 7 mounted on the lid 3 is fitted on a pulley 8 supported on the bottom plate 6 and is laid through the upper and the lower inner cylinders 2, 5. A rhombic pantograph 10 made of links is provided in the inner cylinders 2, 5 between the lid 3 and bottom plate 6. Rings 11 with arms are attached to the fulcra of the pantograph. The flexible spiral chute 12 is mounted on the arms of the rings 11. When the bottom plate 6 is moved up and down by the winch 7, the vertical distance between the rings 11 is changed to alter the inclination angle of the chute.
