Abstract
PURPOSE: To reduce the switching noise thereby to enhance the reliability of a recorder by providing control means for changing and biasing a second switching circuit when a first switching circuit connected with the input terminal of a voltage boosting power source circuit is under interrupted condition.
CONSTITUTION: A voltage boosting power source circuit 24 is provided to interchange the polarities of the voltage to be impressed upon a charger from the power source circuit 24 in accordance with a recording operation mode. First and second switching circuits 26a and 26b are connected with the input terminal of the circuit 24 so that the switching circuit 26b is interchanged and biased on condition that the switching circuit 26a is interrupted when the electric signals are changed in response to the electric signals indicative of the recording operation mode. When the switching circuit at a higher voltage side is interchanged, the primary side of the power source circuit is interrupted. Thus, it is possible to prevent the contact arc and the switching noises.
