Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent the polluted air from flowing into the clean zone by providing an exhaust damper at the exhaust duct of the pressure difference control chamber, whereby the air exhaustion will be larger than the air supply, so that the pressure difference in room can be maintained.
CONSTITUTION: The air fed by an air supply fan 1 is fed into a clean zone A and then transferred through a transfer duct 2 into a pressure difference control chamber B. The air transfer into the pressure difference control chamber B is performed while the pressure difference between the clean zone A is being kept with the pressure difference control damper 3. The air thus transferred into the control chamber B is exhausted after ventilated and cooled. The air exhaustion of an exhaust duct 6 is controlled by an automatic damper 7 which is controlled, in turn, by a pressure difference controller 8. The automatic damper 7 is adapted to operate to increase the air exhaustion, when the pressure difference of the control chamber B tends to become smaller. According to this structure, any adverse flow of the polluted air into the clean zone A can be prevented without increasing the ventilating air more than necessary for maintaining the pressure difference in the room.
