Abstract
PURPOSE: To efficiently and securely fill a container with substituted gas by completely sealing the containers which are together filled with substituted in a chamber after they are packed with contents and partially sealed.
CONSTITUTION: A container packed with contents in partially sealed leaving a vent 7 for substitution. The sealed edge is trimmed according to the required size after cooled down. The containers are then moved in the direction perpendicular to the flow of the sealing process and accumulated. The accumulated containers are again moved in the direction further perpendicular to the way hitherto moved. Carbonic acid gas or nitrogen gas is then substituted for the remaining gas in the containers while they are accumulated in a chamber 11. The vent 7 of the container substituted with the gas is then sealed. Wavy, channel or projection pattern are recommended for the shape of the vent 7.
