Abstract

PURPOSE: To expedite lead-in time and reduce the loss time of auto mechanism by increasing the revolutions of a motor by a changeover circuit and high speed rotating a control cam at the time of setting a tone arm manually over a record disc and letting the same down automatically.

CONSTITUTION: As a motor runs, a control cam 6 rotates, causing a tone arm to make lead-in and down. Position-detecting SW 1, SW 2 are provided along the circumference of the cam 6 and are subsequently operated by the protrusion of the cam 6. While the arm is on the arm rest, the protursion 18 operates the SW 1, whose traveling contact 27 then touches the contact b to supply a +B power source, which an FF 21 is held set. When the arm is set on a record disc by hand and a down SW 22 is turned ON, the FF 21 is set and the motor 3 is run at a high speed by a speed changeover circuit 25. This running causes the protrusion 18 to detach from the SW 1 whose traveling contact 27 then touches the contact 27a. The output of an AND 23 becomes 0 and an FF 24 maintains a set state. When the protrusion 18 pushes the SW 2, its traveling contact 28 touches 28b to set the FF 24, wgucg then changes over the circuit 25 to a low speed.
