Abstract
PURPOSE: To make it possible to reduce the power consumption and to integrate a magnetic sensor and an electric circuit by constructing a magnetic field detector of a magnetic sensor, a detecting circuit, an output circuit and a drive circuit composed of a clock pulse generating circuit and a power source circuit.
CONSTITUTION: A detecting circuit 23 detects the output from a magnetic sensor 11 so that the output is converted into electric signals by an output circuit 24. The frequency of the clock pulse generating circuit 26 of a drive circuit 22 is so adjusted by an adjusting terminal group 47 that it is shorter than the sampling speed required for the measurement of the magnetic field being measured. The magnetic sensor 11, the detecting circuit 23 and the output circuit 24 are intermittently driven by the drive circuit 22, which is composed of the clock pulse generating circuit 26 and a power source circuit 25, so that the current and power to be consumed can be reduced. The foregoing electric circuits 23 to 26 are integrated into one integrated circuit and can be further integrated with the aforementioned circuits in a single crystan plate of Si especially in case the magnetic sensor 11 is a Hall element.
