Abstract

PURPOSE: To eneble reduction and adjustment of resistance value by adding potassium to a ruthenium oxide-based electrode paste used for the production of a metal oxide humidity-sensitive element, printing and baking the element to cause potassium to diffuse into the element.
CONSTITUTION: Tandem electrodes 2 are formed o na sinteeing base plate 1, and lead wires 3 are fitted to the electrodes 2 by use of a ruthenium oxide paste 4. Use of a ruthenium oxide paste added with potassium enables reduction of resistence value. The resistance value can be adjusted without changing the composition of the base plate 1.
