Abstract

PURPOSE:A molded polyester article having improved moldability, crystallization, and reduced property change after molding, comprising (A) polybutylene terephthalate homopolymer as a nucleating agent and (B) its copolymer. CONSTITUTION:(B) 100 parts by wt. of a copolyester consisting of 40-90 mole% of polybutylene terephthalate prepred by copolymerizing 1,4-butanediol is incorporated with (A) 0.1-20 parts by wt. of polybutylene terephthalate to form a polyester composition, which is molded at a temperature substantially below the melting point of the polybutylene terephthalate to give a molded polyester article.
