Abstract
PURPOSE:The title composition having improved pigment dispersion, capable of forming a cured film having improved yellowing, stain, and gasoline resistance, obtained by adding a curing agent to a vinyl copplymer modified by a specific polyester resin. CONSTITUTION:B) A curing agent (preferably a hexamethylene diisocyanate derivative) is added to A) a vinyl copplymer modified by a polyester obtained by reacting a) 2-20 wt.% of a polyester having a molecular weight of 10,000- 30,000 prepared by using 0.02-0.04 mole based on 100g of a raw material of a condensing component containing an ethylenic unsaturated group with b) 0.5- 50 wt.% of a hydroxyl, an epoxy, or an amide group-containing ethylenic unsaturated compound shwon by the formula (n is 1 or 2; m is 0-10) or their methylolated compunds, c) 0.2-5 wt.% of an ethylenic unsatyrated acid, and d) other copolymerizable ehylenic unsaturated compound or a glycidyl ester in an amount to make the total components 100 wt.%.
