Abstract

Into this oil feed port 2, a taper pin 3 of about 1mm diameter is inserted, and the welding heat is given to the center of the protruding head of this taper pin 3, which is then instantaneously welded to the port 2. Hereupon, a severe dimensional tolerance is required for the diameter of both of feed port 2 and pin 3 on the reason of securing the sufficient molten metal from the pin 3. Therefore, a headed pin instead of the taper pin 3 can be used and welded to the port 2 as well as the protruded taper pin 3.
