Abstract
PURPOSE: To remove the clogging recording paper in an easy and safe manner by providing a clogging paper removing door such that it is coactive with an exothermic member.
CONSTITUTION: A clogging paper removing door 47, which is made rotatable about a shaft 49, is provided and connected to an upper exothermic container 41 by an opening and closing lever 51 which is formed with such a guide groove 52 as freely receives a pin 53 fixed to the body of a copier. As a result, if the door 47 is opened, the leading end of the lever 51 is guided by the guide groove 52 and the pin 53 to pop up so that the upper end edge 54 pushes up a roller 50 to turn the container 41 counter-clockwise about a shaft 46. As a result, the paper passage between the container 41 and a lower exothermic container 42 is opened widely, and the door 47 is opened so that the operator can insert his hand through the opening thereby to easily remove the clogging paper from the widely opened passage.
