Abstract
PURPOSE: To suppress shaking and improve durability, by fitting a cam to an oval window on the connecting part between center disks supporting a pair of diaphragms and by connecting the connecting part and the inner wall of a cylindrical housing with levers of equal length.
CONSTITUTION: Center disks 10, 11, which hold the center part of a pair of diaphragms 2, 3, are connected as an integral unit by means of connecting part 14. Circular cam 16 is fitted to oval window 14a, which is long in the direction parallel to shaft 7. Levers 76a, 76b, which can rotate and are of equal length, are provided between side wall part 14f of connecting part 14 and opposing cylindrical housing 1 in such a manner that these form the verteces of a parallelogram. Shaft 7 is rotated by the engine. Then, circular cam 16 is rotated and makes a circular motion inside window 14a. Diaphragms 2, 3 make reciprocating movement in the direction perpendicular to center disks 10,11, and connecting part 14 and the inner wall of housing 1 are moved in parallel.
