Abstract

PURPOSE: To automatically run a vehicle, by optically controlling the movement of the vehicle along a track and using an electroconductive reflector as an antenna to exchange information between the vehicle and a ground station.
CONSTITUTION: If the vehicle is stopped over a tin leaf 2C on the track, a signal is applied from a detector 12 mounted on the vehicle to a station 9 provided on the vehicle and another signal is transmitted from the antenna 10 to the tin leaf 2C and applied to a distributing station 4C through a lead line 3C. An encoder 41C of the distributing station converts the signal and transmits the converted signal to another distributing station 4A through a bus 5. A signal is transmitted from the distributing station 4A to the ground station 6. A decoder 65 of the ground station decodes the signal and applies the decoded signal to a display section 60 and a calculation information processing circuit 63. The position of the vehicle is displayed by a lamp of the display section 60 in accordance with the applied signal.
