Abstract

PURPOSE:The stabilized methyl chloroform composition effective for washing of Al, etc. obtainable by adding 1, 4-dioxane, nitro alkane and specific aliphatic alcohol to methyl chloroform. CONSTITUTION:The stabilizer system of 2 components or 3 components of 1.0 to 10.0% of aliphatic alcohol such as isobutyl alcohol of C=3 to 5 in 1.0 to 10.0vol% of 1, 4-dioxane or 0.1 to 5.0% of nitro alkane or mixed system of both is contained in methyl chloroform. The use of this composition in all washings associating physical vibrations such as of ultrasonic cleaning, etc. of light metal products such as Al, etc. enables the perfect washing to be performed without causing corrosion on the friction surfaces of the metal products.
