Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable even condensers of minute capacities to be surely calibrated by parallel connecting resistances having respectively equal resistance values to standard and test condensers.
CONSTITUTION: A resistance 28 is parallel connected to a test condenser 3 and a resistance 29 to a standard condenser 4, respectively. These resistances 28, 29 are made equal in their resistance value. With such constitution, the potential at the point of connection between the standard condenser 4 and test condenser 3 becomes 1/2 the supply voltage divided by the resistance values when a fixed time has elapsed after application of a start switch 2 but at the moment when the switch 2 is closed it receives the effect of both standard and test condensers and therefore if their values vary, the potential of detecting point instantaneously goes out of the resistance divided value. This value is temporarily held in a peak value holding circuit consisting of holding condenser 7 and FET 8 or the like, whereby calibration may be made surely even in the case of minute capacities.
