Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent accidental interference of plural shafts by stopping the machine and giving an alarm immediately before the shafts enter the interference range by continuously monitoring the inteference range. CONSTITUTION:Interference range data is stored by an arithmetic control module 12 by designating the interference range and the original position of the machine by a keyboard 12 to position the machine 19 at the original position. Data representing the original position of the machine is applied to a position counter 16a. The arithmetic control module 12 compares the machine position data given by the position counter 16a and the interference range data every sampling signal given by a sampling time generator 15. The arithmetic control module 12 does not give an output signal to a position error counter 13 and the position counter 16a and actuates an alarm to give an alarm signal when the machine 19 enters the interference range.
