Abstract
PURPOSE: To take automatically an action for the occurrence of actual abnormal condition by taking preliminarily an action in response to stability of abnormal condition enabling to transfer to the normal circulation condition from a certain regular condition in the short period.
CONSTITUTION: With power shutdown of liquid coupling driving motor 2 of recirculation loop 7, this is detected with power shutdown detector 20, and the power is transmitted to AND circuit 21. When AND circuit 21 is energized by power from detector 20, selection control rod insertion device 23 is actuated to insert desired control rod selectively into the core. In this case, numbers, position and depth of selected control rod are preset in the power down ratio decision device 22 to satisfy respective limiting condition of reactor.
