Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain an input-output port control circuit, the number of input port and the power consumption of which can both be reduced.
CONSTITUTION: Microprocessor 1 is equipped with data bus 22 and address bus 23, input-output port 2 links to it, and input apparatuses 7 to 10 and output apparatus 11 are connected. Decoder circuit 14 selects one of input apparatuses 7 to 10, and gate circuit 13 cuts off a signal from the output port of input-output port 2. Then, timing circuit 12 controls gate circuit 13 and decoder circuit 14.
