Abstract

PURPOSE:To utilize effectively radio waves by giving frequencies of a filter to each group one by one and using only sound and ringing tone to the group itself as sound and making communication possible without mutual influences in case that the same radio frequency is shared. CONSTITUTION:A base station has circuits 3 and 4 which generate selective calling signals and sound signals respectively, and transmits them by circuit 16 which generates tone squelch signals while superposing them to selective signals and sound signals. Meanwhile, a mobile radio station converts receiving signals to a DC voltage through tone squelch filter 14 by rectifier 15, and transmits the voltage to receiver 12 and filter 8. Then, in case that the same radio frequency is shared, frequencies of filter 14 are given to each group one by one, and only sound and ringing tone for the group itself is used as sound. As a result, communication is possible without mutual influences even if the same radio frequency is shared with plural groups, and radio waves can be utilized effectively.
