Abstract
PURPOSE: To maintain the uniform distribution of temperature on the inner surface of nozzle to prevent the corner and inner surface of nozzle from thermal fatigue cracking by providing simply a spiral member between the outer surface of easily interchangeable, bayonet type thermal sleeve and the inner surface of nozzle.
CONSTITUTION: A spiral expansion member 9 is provided between the inner surface of nozzle 2 and the outer surface of bayonet type thermal sleeve 32. Cooling water 5 which is flowed into a bayonet portion of the thermal sleeve 32 enlarged by the contraction due to the injection of the cooling water 5 is guided by the spiral member 9, heated sequentially and sent into a container 1. At that time, even if a small amount of cooling water(leakage water) is flowed from the bayonet portion, the section of fluid in the spiral member 9 is relatively small so that the flow speed becomes higher and a layer of cooling water formed on the outer surface of the thermal sleeve 32 is involed in the whole flow to provide the uniform distribution of temperature on the inner surface of nozzle 4 and prevent that portion from thermal fatigue cracking.
