Abstract

PURPOSE: A specialized drawing machine in which the drawing pin and drawing roller are equipped in parallel and arranged with a specific interval, thereby shortening the period of drawing uneveness, randomizing the phase of drawing uneveness, and further irregulating the period of drawing uneveness.
CONSTITUTION: Drawing pin 1 and drawing roller 2 are set nearly in parallel and the diameter of drawing pin 1, P in mm, the diameter of drawing roller 2, R in mm, and the inrerval between the pin and roller, D in mm, are determined so as to satisfying the equation: D2+D(P+R)<2500. Namely, a common internal tangent X is supposed between the drawing pin 1 and roller 2 and the distance between contact points X1 and X2 is made less than 50 mm. The drawing is effected within such short drawing distance, thus leaving undrawn parts on the yarns in short periods.
