Abstract
PURPOSE: For obtaining a filter press washer having a simple construction and convenient both in handling and use, to provide a plurality of washing-liquid supply pipes interconnected capable of running close to and apart from each other so that said supply pipes may be laterally transferable underward of filter plates.
CONSTITUTION: Upon washing a filter press, washing liquid supply pipes 16 position contacting with each other on the rear side of said filter press. Most of cakes fall by the own weight thereof when filtration is completed and filter plates 4 are set at a fixed distance from each other. When a motor 26 is driven to operate a cylinder 34 at this time, said washing-liquid supply pipes 16 advance while making said distance from each other larger and position between said filter plates 4. Filter cloths 6a and 6b are washed with a washing nozzle 18 while a take-up roller 14 is let take up said filter cloths 6a and 6b with a shaft 5 rotated. After the completion of washing, said filter cloths 6a and 6b are rewound up to the initial position thereof and said washing-liquid supply pipes 16 are returned to the runaway position thereof where the mutual contact thereof is restored.
