Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide a pneumatic roller conveyor vehicle, in which air bags are inflated such that their front ends are projected above the carrier bed, and the roller conveyor is kept substantially parallel with the ground surface when no cargo is on the conveyor, whereby it is enabled to prevent that cargos are self- driven and crash against other cargos or front wall of the vehicle at the time of loading cargos onto the vehicle.
CONSTITUTION: A plurality of elongated holes 2 are formed along the length of carrier bed 1, and an air bag 3 is placed on the bottom of respective holes 2. Bottom plate 7 of roller conveyor frame 6, on which roller conveyor 4 is supported in freely rotatable manner, is mounted on the upper surface of air bags 3. In loading cargos, air bags 3 are inflated until projections 6a of conveyor frame 6 come into abutment with stoppers 8. Here, since the stoppers 8 are shaped such that it is inclined toward the front at an angle substantially equal to the inclination angle of the vehicle, conveyor 4 can be kept substantially parallel with the ground surface and at a level projected above the floor surface of carrier bed 1.
