Abstract

PURPOSE: To increased the precision of measurement of the transformation ratio by comparing the primary and secondary side DC voltages of the transformer with a null method using a voltage comparator circuit.
CONSTITUTION: A DC voltage M1 proportional to the primary side DC input to a transformer 5 for a DC measuring instrument and a DC voltage M2 proportional to the secondary side output are obtained, and one of these DC voltages and a DC voltage taken out from the other voltage through a voltage divider consisiting of resistors 9b and 9g are compared with a voltage comparator circuit 9a for obtaining the transformation ratio of the transformer from the resistance ratio of the voltage divider by making both the DC voltages equal. In this way, precise measurement of the transformation ratio of the transformer can be obtained by comparing the primary and secondary side DC voltages of the transformer with a null method using a voltage comparator circuit and deriving the transformation ratio of the transformer from the resistance ratio of the voltage divider at that time.
