Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain the title fibers having excellent antistatic properties and improved fiber properties, by spinning a mixture comprising a specific amount of a specified compound and a solution of an antistatic graft copolymer and an acrylonitrile polymer.
CONSTITUTION: A polymer bend of (A) a graft polymer comprising a graft polymer (b) consisting mainly of acrylonitrile and a backbone chain (a) consisting of a copolymer of 10W30 wt.% of acrylonitrile and 90W70 wt.% of a compound of formula I: (m is an integer 5W100; R1 is H or CH3; R2 is H or ≤8C alkyl group) and (B) polyacrylonitrile or a polymer consisting of 70 wt.% or more of acrylonitrile is incorporated with 0.05W5 wt.% of a compound of formula II: (X is H or CH3; m is an integer 1W3) to form a spinning solution, which is wet spun into fibers. The weight ratio of a to b is 1.0 : 0.4 W 1.0 : 3.0, and the content of the compound of formula I is 1W10 wt.%.
