Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a beauty appliance for obtaining massaging effect by sucking taking with steam whithout making sking soft and wet in advance.
CONSTITUTION: The skin is massaged with sucking in wet condition providing a steam generator in an attachment 2, wherein the sucking is carried by a diaphragm pump consists of a rubber diaphragm 5, pumping chamber 7 or the like. Said steam generator is composed of a positive characteristic thermistor 24 as a heat generator and an absorber felt 25 as an absorbing material. Said steam generator is included in the attachment body 1 having vent holes 31 on its surface contacting with skin and water feeding hole 30 on its outside wall. When power supply cord 21 is connected with electric source, an electric motor 9 is driven and the thermistor 24 generates heat at constant temperature. Further, driven by the motor 9, eccentric shaft 10 makes eccentric motion which actuates diaphragm 5 performing pumping action, while sucking is operated on the skin through section port 28 of the attachment 2. Steam generated by heating the absorber filt 25, is discharged through the holes 31 so as to make skin soft and wet.
