Abstract
PURPOSE: To improve electric characteristics of contact interface and make connections compact by producing a predetermined pressure at interface between the outer periphery of insulator for cable and the inner periphery of insulating tube.
CONSTITUTION: An insulator 3 of resilient material for spacer is attached between an insulator 1 and an insulating tube 2 of power cable, and pressure is produced on the connection between the outer periphery of the insulator 1 and the inner periphery of the insulating tube 2 to maintain the electric characteristics. The pressure applied to the interface C by the resilient pressure is made at least 0.5 kg/cm2. Thus the electric characteristics on the interface can be improved so that the interface can be reduced shorter than conventional one, thereby making the connection compact.
