Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide the subject device wherein the transmission of rotation torque to a driven rotary shaft is effectively carried out in a state where the shaft core of a driven rotary shaft of a device to be connected has a slight irregularity with respect to the driving shaft of a driving machine.
CONSTITUTION: In a case where a deflection testing machine is used as a driving machine and a differential device D as a device to be connected, a shaft 11 having a flange 18 capable of matching with the connecting end of a driven rotary shaft 10 is provided at the lower end of a driving shaft 4 to which the rotation of a driving motor is transmitted through a universal joint 8. A plurality of fingers 12 engaged with the locking part the forward end of which is the outer peripheral part of a companion flange 9 of said shaft 10 are arranged around the periphery of the shaft 11, and these fingers 12 are constantly energized inwardly by means of a flat spring 13. The chuck main body C thus constructed is driven by an operating system A including a cylinder 41 to carry out the bonding between the driving shaft 4 and the driven shaft 10.
