Abstract
PURPOSE: To regulate the pressure difference of a high plenum and a low plenum in wide range and finely, in a regulating device of a plenum pressure by which the coolant is smpplied to the core constituting elements of a reactor, by means of exchanging a little number of entrance nozzles.
CONSTITUTION: In a core structure thereat, for example, a reacor structure of a fast breeder, namely, coolant enters to a reactor vessel 2 from an inlet nozzle 1, and is passing through a high plenum 9 and a low plenum 10, and exits from an outlet nozzle 4 by means of cooling a core 3, and on the other hand, the core 3 is constituted of containing and supporting a many kind of core constituting elements by a core structure, connecting tubes 24 having flow path holes 8 are set up between an upper supporting panel 12 and a low supporting panel 13 of the core struecture 5, and an entrance nozzles of shielding bodies 8 (or reflector) of movable neutron are inserted in these connecting tubes 24. And a plurality of holes 31 corresponding to holes 22 are bored at the sides of the above mentioned nozzles 11, and the plenum pressure is regulated by means of changing the combination of the largeness of the holes 22, 31.
