CONSTITUTION: The preheating is given to the color picture tube in process 11 via the high-frequency induction heating, and thus the heating is given to the magnetic substances within the picture tube such as the shadow mask, the shadow mask frame, the electron gun and others. In the next process 12, such picture tube mounting parts are attached as the deflecting yoke, the convergence yoke, the color purifying magnet and others to perform the adjustment of the color purity degree and the convergence. The picture tube is then stored in the cabinet to be sent to production completion process 13. With such block adjusting method, the conventional heat- run process can be omitted, and thus the preheating time can be shortened greatly. As a result, the adjusting time can also be reduced, at the same time saving the cost required for the heat-run process as well as the space.
