Abstract

PURPOSE: To facilitate heat discharge effect, by transferring the heat generated between a hollow disk and a magnetizing inner disk by their contact to the wall of an external non-magnetic hollow disk through a magnetic fluid.
CONSTITUTION: Magnetic fluid 12 filled between non-magnetic hollow disk 4 and magnetizing inner disk 5 transfers the magnetic energy supplied from magnetizing inner disk 5 onto hollow disk 4 without loss of magnetic energy to be caused by the gap and without attenuation, forms a high-efficiency magnetic circuit and makes the magnet in magnetizing inner disk 5 operate at the operation point in an optical condition. As a result of filling magnetic fluid 12, abrasion and contact resistance occurring between two disks 4 and 5 are greatly reduced and the lifetimes of the rotary disks are lengthened.
