Abstract

PURPOSE: To remove fog automatically from the window pane in a motor vehicle under a combination of a pair of electric poles, a switching circuit and a humidity removing mechanism.
CONSTITUTION: A switching circuit comprising an oscillatot 2, a frequency discriminator 3 and output part 4 is connected to a sensor 1 comprising a pair of spaced apart comb shaped metal foil electric poles 13, 13' on the inner surface of the passenger room i.e. the window pane 12. When fogs are generated in the window pane 12, an electrostatic capacity between the electric poles 13, 13' is largely varied, an oscillation frequency of the oscillator 2 comprising a calculation amplifier OPI and resistors R1 to R3 and R7, R8 is varied in response to the variation of the electrostatic capacity, two triggers are activated, a frequency discriminator 3 connected in series with stable multivibrators, 6, 6' discriminates if the output from the oscillator 2 is higher or lower than a reference value, and when higher than the reference value, an energization signal is transmitted to the humidity removal mechanism.
