Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain a video signal with natural color balance, by making it possible to adjust the gains and frequency characteristics of R, G and BB signals according to the color temperature of an illuminating light source.
CONSTITUTION: Outputs from electrode-split color pickup tube 51, R, G and BB signals, are amplified respectively by pre-amplifier circuits 52R, 52G and 52B to fixed voltages and then applied to frequency-characteristics and gain adjustment circuits 53R, 53G and 53B. These adjustment circuits are enabled to adjust signals to fixed gain and frequency characteristics according to the color temperature of the illuminating light source and R, G and BB signal adjusted here are synthesized into a color signal by color coder 54.
