Abstract

The coolant gush preventing unit 3 comprises two rings having cut-off openings 31, 32 which are located away from each other. When the pressure in the reactor rises sharply, the rings 11 are deformed outward and tightly fitted on the surface of the flange and the sealed surface of the shield plug to prevent the coolant from gushing through the gap between the flange and the plug.
