Abstract
PURPOSE: To simplify the constitution of temperature rise detecting circuit and facilitate packaging thereof, by using a resistance element which changes in resistance due to temperature changes as the pulse changing element in a monostable multivibrator.
CONSTITUTION: As far as the temperature of the printed substrate is within the specified temperature range, the pulse width of a monostable multivibrator 2, as shown by C, is shorter than the pulse width of the clock pulse, so that the AND output of an AND gate 3 is at low level, not changing FF 5. When the temperature of the printed substrate exceeds the specified value, the resistance value of a resistance element R increases, and the pulse width of the monostable mutivibrator 2 becomes longer than the pulse wifth of the clock pulse, so that an output, as shown by (d), will be created in the AND gate 3, thereby inverting the FF5. As a result, the temperature rise of the printed substrate is detected by the output shown by (e).
