Abstract

PURPOSE: To accomplish automatic and effective compensation of the imbalance in the three phase viewed from the power source with a resistantive dummy load inserted between specified phases of the power bus previously specified when the reduction in the one phase of the three-phase feed current.
CONSTITUTION: The outputs of current transformers 4 to 6 are respectively fed to abnormal phase detectors, namely, comparators 8 to 10 to be compared with the output of an current synthetic averaging device. The comparators 8 to 10 generate an output when the deviation of the input exceeds the set value of a deviation setting devece 8' to 10'. The output of the comparators are fed to a dummu-load- applied signal devices 15 to 17 through timers 12 to 14. Dummy-load-applied switch gears 18 and 19 composed of a three phase switch for dummy load power connection opens a specified two phase switch corresponding to any one of outputs of the dummy load applied signal devices 15, 16 and 17 for insertion of a dummy load.
